throughput

Nominal throughput is 1000kg/hr continuous, 24 hours/day, 6.5 days per week with an expected uptime of 8000 hours per year.

24% dry weight basis on woody residues

Stack height approximately 5m from ground level

Heat rejection system, fuel drying, materials handling and other components may increase this footprint.

Major overhaul every 8000 hours with 2-4 days of downtime.

Preventative and minor maintenance is undertaken by trained operators.

feedstock

Feed material is expected to have undergone sizing/screening through a nominal 32mm screen. Feedstock specifications can be provided on request.

daisy chaining

When two or more units are employed in series it is expected that oversized char that is incompletely carbonized  could be delivered into a second hearth for further gasification.

options

Burru-4000 units may be swapped, upgraded or retrofitted with:

  • Facilities to produce hot water or steam (and thus electricity)

  • Fuel drying systems
